He was born at 7:17 on April 24th. His weight was 6.8 lbs and 19 mins. long. He got a 8.9 on his first test (Apgar). So, there are the facts.

Jett is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, after 24 hours of labor and a c-section, he is here! Matthew and I are very happy for the first addition to our family, Jett Alexander Wilson. Enjoy the photos! Love to you all.

What? Snow in April! It looks like Father Winter is here to stay.

Matthew and I awake this morning to a Winter Wonderland! We drive around last night and looked at all the dear above our house. We saw a group of about 25 to 30 of them. They look healthy and the young ones were bouncing around. Real cute. I got up around 4 am to use the bathroom (mom's you know what it is like) and saw a Mother and Baby dear in our yard. The tree lost some limbs because of the weight on the tree. I guess we are going to have another backyard burning. love to all.

Yes, I am only getting bigger and BIGGER... I go to the Doc's today to see what is up. Still 13 days away from the due date and counting.

What to do on a Monday night in Utah?

Hello, burn the sticks in our yard! Yes, this is very exciting for Matthew and I. We like to burn things... haha. We had so many sticks in our yard from the winter that it took us or Matthew mostly three to four hours to burn and gather them. To bad, we did not have marsh mellows.

We want to wish everyone a Happy Easter! Here is a photo of one of my student's artwork I thought everyone would enjoy.
It is a little pinch pot chick! He had a mini chick friend, but somewhere in the firing process got lost, so I hope the kid makes it again. I thought it was cute!

THE CRIB!

Okay, I was a little picky about the crib, and of course, the one crib that Matthew and I agreed on was going to be discontinued. So, I found the last crib available in the state of Utah, which was a display model and came with a discount. I was happy to get it! But as everyone knows, you get sidetracked with all kinds of stuff you have to do, called life, and the crib sat all wrapped up from the store for awhile. But Karen and Kelly motivated the situation and came over to help Matthew with the construction of the crib. Because it was a display model, it did not come with instructions, but the building crew figured it all out! Now the crib looks great in the room, and it is feeling more and more like Jett is almost here or on the outside of me :) So, thank you very much, my wonderful crew for doing this!

Little Jett's Room

Mary came over and helped with the painting of Jett's room. We had a great time... I did the bottom edge and sat a lot, but we got through it! Now the room has some life to it. Only a few weeks to go!

Once again I forgot to snap some photos... really, it is not like I got my degree in photography of anything like that. I just wanted to say thank you Jenn for having my baby shower gathering for the wonderful ladies in my church. We had a great time, with lots of good conversation, good eats and goodies for Jett. I am really liking forward to Jett coming really soon. Working on sub plans for now and getting his room really. Everyone tells me that you are never really ready, so I am doing what I can and going with the flow. Only four weeks left.
