Christmas Vacation 2008

Hope you enjoy the photos of the fun event over the Christmas holiday!

The Cason Family Adventure

When we first go off the plane, we rented a car and drove around downtown San Diego. We had some food in Little Italy and went to sea port village, which I have to go to the hat shop! We had a good time hanging out with my family and I really enjoyed spending time with them.

San Diego Adventures

We were able to go to see Matthew's grandparent car which they gave to the Car Museum in San Diego. We got in for free which was a nice perk. Plus, we got to go to the Hotel Del and see the Christmas Tree which I love. The Del was very beautiful with the Christmas lights and the trimming. It was the white tree this year.

Adventures in Burbank

It was great being able to visit some close family friends and have a great dinner. I learned how to play Dominos for the first time at 34 years old... I love the photo of John, Wes and Matthew, all smiles :) Thanks guys for a great day!

Wilson Family Christmas 08

We had Christmas at Matthew's family house with the gang. It was a very nice Christmas day, and Matthew got the best gift ever. His mother, Karen, gave him and his brothers a whip. All of them had great fun ripping things up in the backyard. Matthew will someday teach his son to whip out candles with it. Boy that is going to be fun! Karen also made the coolest apron ever for all the girls. I have been wanting a apron like that for a long time, and to get a hand made one was really special!

Seal Beach

Matthew and I got a few hours to hang out at Seal Beach, which is our fave spot to get coco and food. It was very cold... but really nice being there.

Snow Snow Snow at the cabin

Shooting and getting stuck!

Matthew, Matt's Dad Dave and I went shooting one day. They had great fun and I hit the target one time :) We got stuck in the ice next to a Fed Ex Truck. He were is bad shape, but Dave and Matt got us out. What fun!

At the cabin

We had lots of snow to play with.

The Visit with the Hooked on Zook Guy!

We were able to see Tom for just a little bit, because of timing and poor Tom having to go to Hawaii with his Family. We love Tom's sense of style, check the shirt.

Thank you!

Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Wilson for letting us stay with you. I was nice to have the time together!

Babies first Christmas gift!

Ande gave little Jett his first Christmas gift. It was my Christmas gift, but Ande said that since Jett is in me, we shared the gift. I know, it is all about baby from now on.

Mom was really into the plant life at the zoo. There were some really unusual plants.

The San Diego Zoo Adventure with Mom and Ande

We were really were there all day....

The San Diego Zoo Adventure with Mom and Ande

The Red Panda... he many look really cute and huggable, but he has claws! All the same, Ande really like him, but she could not take this one home.

The San Diego Zoo Adventure with Mom and Ande

We decided to be tourist and go to the San Diego Zoo for a day. Ande and I would go to the zoo all the time when we were little for girl scouts, so I was fun to go as adults. It was very packed with people that day, and tons of kids. It gave Matthew and I a good idea of what is to come in just a few months... So the photos are of us just hanging out and some of the more pretty animals at the zoo... the pig... and we were happy to see so many interesting birds...

Coming Home to SNOW SNOW SNOW...

Flying over Pleasant Grove, we were somewhat happy to see a beautiful blanket of snow covering our hood, but was not happy with the fact that that week we would get a ton more snow and would be shoveling at least two times a day. Plus Matthew got sick, and me being 5+ months, I am sure we were a fun sight to watch. We were happy to be home, and Matthew were excited to start a new semester of school.

California Adventure

Hello All!

Matthew and I have just been swamped the last two weeks, so sorry for the delay in posting our Christmas trip. We really enjoyed being able to visit family and have some time in a slightly warm weather area. We started out in San Diego to visit my Papa, Mom and Ande, then went on to Long Beach for Matthew's family Christmas and to see Tom, then back down to San Diego for a little bit. Lots of traveling, but a good time overall. I want to thank all of you in SD and the LBC for being wonderful hosts. Here are some photos of the adventure, hope you enjoy them.
